What are the Davis Learning Strategies?

Davis Learning Strategies (DLS) are a versatile, creative, and multisensory pathway to reading fluency and learner self-awareness, especially tailored for young learners up to the age of 9.

Research indicates that DLS are effective at:

• preventing the onset of special educational needs
• increasing the likelihood that a child will emerge as a gifted and talented learner.

DLS create firm foundations in pre-reading skills, integrating with a school’s existing reading teaching strategies. DLS is a good complementary solution for children who have so far struggled with basic sight word recognition, phonic-based reading instruction, reading comprehension and spelling.

Simply put — it is the missing piece that makes everything else start working.

*DLS Kit consisting of DLS Manual, Upper & Lower case alphabet strip, letter cards, laminated stop sign & energy dial, 5 packets of clay, metal scale, 2 mustard bean bags, writing pad and pen.

*Training completion certificate

*One year of mentoring support and the option of Internship Training at Indigo Heartful Kids, the inclusive stream of Heartfulness International School-Omega Branch.
