The Davis Method gives you the tools to guide a loved one through a life-changing series of tools and concepts that give them the ability to better understand themself, others and the world around them.

Because this approach was created by an autistic person, Ron Davis,  the curriculum focuses on the strengths of an autistic mind rather than traditional ways of looking at what society deems deficits. Because there is no rote learning, behavioral modification or script memorizing, the autistic person has a toolkit to address any life situation they encounter without distress or overwhelm.

The workshop is hosted live, online, October 5-9, 9am-5pm CDT. (You must be able to attend live).

How does it work?

Over 5 days, you’ll learn the three most important methods to help an autistic person:

• Self-regulation tools: Davis’ signature mental strategies give individuals the ability to regulate stress, attention and energy levels to match their surroundings
• Life concepts: essential, but abstract concepts like time, consequence, and responsibility are difficult for an autistic mind to grasp. Their way of processing the world is through images. How do you form a mental image of responsibility? Through Davis clay modeling.
• Real life practice: You’ll learn how to guide a loved one through these concepts and ideas in real world situations.
