DESCRIPTION:The Basic Practice Meeting develops a refined level of skill  in the basic Davis techniques and enhanced experiential understanding of  the perceptual\, thinking and learning style of dyslexics. The human qualities that ensure success as a Davis Facilitator are introduced\,  explored and developed. Practice takes place in groups of two to three people under the guidance of a Davis Specialist. \nTraining Schedule:\n\nMonday 1st — Wednesday 3rd and Saturday 6th — Sunday 7th December 2025\, 9:00 a.m. — 4:30 p.m. GMT (UTC+0)\n\n\nCost for modules: \nBasic Field Assignments: £400 \nBasic Practice Meeting: £1000 \nGift of Learning Workshop: £1200 \nTotal: £2600 \n£100 prompt enrolment discount available on enrolments onto all three modules on or before Sunday 24th August 2025. (Discount is a single reduction\, not per module. Discount is applied to your final monthly instalment\, or to your balance payment if you pay an initial deposit now.) \n\n\nCancellation and Refund Policy \n \nWhen purchasing your enrolment onto these modules\, you will be asked to confirm acceptance of the following Cancellation and Refund Policy: \n\nYou may cancel your enrolment within seven days of enrolling\, provided that you notify us of this in writing and provided that the date of cancellation also provides for at least one month’s notice prior to commencement of the module in question.  Should you be unable to attend the training for reasons of a personal or family medical emergency\, then we will treat each case on an individual basis following presentation of the necessary medical evidence. SUMMARY:Basic Practice Meeting – Online Asia-Pacific time
DESCRIPTION:This four-day course (5 days if online) is open to students who have completed the Basic Field Assignments. Its purpose is to refine counsellor skills\, and develop increased experiential understanding of dyslexic perception\, thinking\, learning style and process. It provides intensive supervised practice in small groups of the basic Davis procedures and is focused on improving technical skills. This course may be required to be repeated to improve skills for those wishing to pursue licensing as Davis Facilitators. Includes individual Specialist consultation. Note: Basic Field Assignments must be submitted 21 days before workshop starts. This course must be done with the same Specialist who reads and evaluates these Basic Field Assignments.
