DESCRIPTION:Are you a dedicated parent\, educator\, therapist\, or caregiver striving to support a child or student facing the challenges of autism? \nDo you long to make their daily experiences less stressful and overwhelming? \nYou can help a young child unlock their knowledge and capabilities with  our specialised Davis Stepping Stones Workshop. This Davis methods course will show you how to assist a child (or children) on the autism spectrum under the age of eight. You will  be able to guide them to increase their self-awareness\, improve  self-regulation\, deal more positively with change\, cope with meltdowns\,  and better understand the world around them – all without losing their beautiful uniqueness.​ \nThe workshop is delivered over 4 three-hour sessions. Davis Stepping Stones 2 takes that further. \nOnce you’ve completed Davis Stepping Stones\, your child or participant will be ready to explore three deeper concepts that help them make sense of the world around them: \n\nTime — understanding that change can be measured\, and that the world operates on a predictable standard\nSequence — recognising that things follow each other in order\, across five types: time\, size\, amount\, arbitrary order\, and importance\nOrder and Disorder — building the ability to recognise when things are in their proper place\, position\, and condition — and how to restore order when they’re not\n\nThese concepts are explored hands-on\, through clay modelling and real-life experiences. They’re not abstract lessons.
